Piacevole dolore - Pleasant painful

Provai un dolore leggero
che si mescolava a piacere,
leggendo sul tuo volto
il desiderio di cose proibite
che mi permisi di fare,
per portare all'eccesso
il tuo desiderio di me,
rimasto indenne negli anni
oltre quelli passati insieme.

I felt a slight pain
mingling with desire,
reading on your face
the wish for forbidden things
that I allowed myself to do,
to lead to excess
your desire for me,
which has been unhurt for years
beyond those spent together.

La dimensione - The dimension

Non cercare l'arcobaleno
tra le braccia al buio,
non cercare il profumo dei gigli
nei baci sconosciuti e scontati
girovagando tra i carrozzoni di un circo
e le gabbie degli animali feroci.
Accetta l'alternarsi di alba e tramonto,
nei quali troverai la vera dimensione
di te e un amore sincero.

Do not look for the rainbow
in the arms in the darkness,
not to seek the scent of lilies
in the kisses unknown and discounted
wandering between the carriages of a circus
and the cages of wild animals.
Accept the alternation of sunrise and sunset,
where you will find the true size
about you and a sincere love.

Dedicata ad Annelise, mia madre - Remembering Annelise, my mother

Era bello pettinare i tuoi lunghi capelli,
biondi come il miele, profumati di acacia,
mentre mi mettevi il pigiamino verde e giallo.
Era incantevole la tua voce,
mentre mi cantavi la ninna nanna
con le carezze date da mani soffici.
Impossibile scordare le tue sgridate,
concluse sempre in un abbraccio
forte e protettivo.
Eri bella, luminosa, avvenente, donna,
e capivi che i tuoi profondi occhi verdi
sapevano far tacere tutti, me compreso.
Eri alta, slanciata, e danzavi per noi.
Eri tu. Vera. Unica. E ti ricordo così.
Mia madre.

It was nice to comb your long hair,
blond as honey, fragrant of acacia,
while you helped me to dress the green and yellow pajamas.
Your voice was lovely,
while you sang a lullaby
with caresses given from soft hands.
Impossible to forget your scoldings,
always ended in a hug
strong and protective.
You were beautiful, bright, attractive, woman,
and you understood that your deep green eyes
imposed to silence everyone, including myself.
You were tall, slender, and danced for us.
That one was you. Real. Unique. And I remember you so.
My mother.

Il moccolo di candela - The candle end

Ti cantavo spesso una canzoncina
ogni sera, prima che il sonno ti prendesse
indossando il mio pigiama.
Pettinavo la tua corvina chioma
e passavo lentamente
tra le pieghe del tuo corpo
con il mio sguardo soddisfatto.
Mettevo una musica speciale
mentre facevi la doccia
e di domenica, fresca era
per te la migliore colazione.
Ora sistemo il letto
ove dormirò, nel tuo lato preferito
e ascoltando le musiche
che tu suonavi per me
spegnerò il lume, ormai diventato
un moccolo, nell'aspettarti

I often sang a ditty for you
every night, before sleep got you
wearing my pajamas.
Combed your raven hair
and I passed slowly
in the folds of your body
with my eyes satisfied.
I put a special music
while you did the shower
and on Sunday, fresh it was
for you the best breakfast.
Now I settle the bed
where I will sleep, in your preferred side
and listening to the music
that you played for me
I extinguish the light, which is now
a candle end, in waiting you

Il camino ardente - The burning fireplace

Posi il mio tronco di legna profumata
nel tuo camino ardente, ove
scoppiettando sulle morbide ondeggianti fiamme
aumentò il calore attorno a noi.
Come un mantice il tuo respiro
aumentò il bruciar del legno,
che cenere divenne
con tuo pieno gradimento.

I placed my trunk of perfumed wood
in your burning fireplace, where
crackling on the soft undulating flames
increased the heat around us.
Like a bellows your breath
increased the burn of wood,
which became ashes
with your full satisfaction.

Libertá - Freedom

Scrivi,
ciò che ti detta il cuore,
pur se tanto dolore dovesse darti.
Capisci,
quello che il tuo animo
vuole esprimere con tanta veemenza.
Ascolta,
quanto il tuo spirito
sta dicendoti.
Parla apertamente
di tutto questo,
per sentire la libertà
ancora più forte
e non essere prigioniera
di falsi pregiudizi.

Write,
what your heart dictates,
even if it were to give you so much pain.
Understand,
what your mind
wants to express with such vehemence.
Listen,
what your spirit
is telling you.
Talk openly
about all this,
to feel the freedom
even stronger,
and not be imprisoned
by false prejudices.

Tu - You

Dolce il tuo sorriso,
mentre sotto la doccia
ti carezzo i capelli.
Caldo e sensuale,
il tuo sguardo
prima di addormentarti.
Tremula e vivace,
la tua pelle alle mie carezze.
Intrigante il tuo cammino
sopra il mio.
Delicata la tua voce,
nel chiamarmi e cercarmi.
Conturbante,
il tuo modo di essere.
Tu sei questa.
Per me.

Sweet is your smile,
while in the shower
I caress your hair.
Warm and sensual,
your glance
before falling asleep.
Tremulous and vibrant,
your skin to my touch.
Intriguing your path
above mine
Delicate your voice,
calling and searching me.
Seductive,
your way of being.
You are that.
For me.

Una fine - An end

Lungo l'abbraccio fu
senza parole o fatti,
nel mentre guardandoci nel viso
sentimmo di essere una sola persona
che afferra e dà a se stessa
sensazioni di amore e possesso,
pur sapendo che a tutto
una fine c'è.

Long the embrace was
without words or facts,
while looking in the face
we felt to be one person,
that grabs and gives itself
feelings of love and possession,
knowing that in all
there is an end.

Dedicated to all my readers and friends Orthodox

Albatros

Vola alto nel cielo,
lasciandosi trasportare dal vento,
quell'albatros solitario
che scruta con la sua acuta vista
le terre che sorvola,
cercando invano il nido che lasciò.
Al placarsi del vento,
muove sempre più velocemente le sue ali
per proseguire veloce il suo viaggio
verso terre lontane,
ove fermarsi e di nuovo
cercare con chi un nido nuovo formare.

It flies high in the sky,
drifting in the wind,
the solitary albatross
looking with his keen sight
the lands where it flies over,
searching in vain where the nest it lef.
At the wind subsiding,
it moves faster and faster its wings
to proceed its jouney
to distant lands,
where to stop and back
to seek with whom to form a new nest.

Io vorrei - I would like

I would like your hands
return again to pierce my skin
with sharp nails,
while I manage the concert of voices
that subdued express our enjoy
with moments of indescribable love,
that left indelible mark
of our common journey in the life.

Goccia - Drop

Pian piano ti volti
e stremata ti accorgi
donde quella lacrima cadde,
capendo che nessuno era con te.

As lightly as a feather
a drop falls on your silky skin,
making it crackle like silk that rubs
in an insolent embrace.
Runs the drop
along the slope of a back trembling,
pushed by the wind of the breath
gradually more and more violent.
Slowly you turn,
and exhausted you realize
from where the tears fell down,
realizing that no one was with you.

La mia esistenza - My existence

Dovesse capitare il momento in cui
nessuno ti da una carezza,
nessuno ti cerca o ti vuole,
non ricevi una parola di conforto,
non ti danno amore,
devi elemosinare un bacio,
senti freddo e vorresti essere abbracciata,
tu sai che io esisto per questo.

Were to happen the moment in which
no one gives you a caress,
no one seeks or wants you,
you do not receive a word of comfort,
nobody does not give you love,
you have to beg for a kiss,
feel cold and want to be embraced,
you know that I exist for this.
