Correvo - I ran (read listening the music)

Rincorrevo i palloncini,

nei tempi che furono.

Giocavo con un cane ed un gatto,

nel tempo del poi,

prima che mi venissero tolti.

Correvo dietro le gonne delle ragazze,

sperando che qualcuna cadesse,

per baciarla sul prato.

Ora non corro più,

dietro i palloncini o le gonne al vento,

non ho più un cane o un gatto;

ho una panca e dell'erba vicino,

ove siedo ed aspetto

che tu mi raggiunga.

I was running behind the balloons,

in times past.

I was playing with a dog and a cat,

in time of the later,

before were removed them to me.

I ran behind the skirts of the girls,

hoping that someone would fall,

to kiss her on the lawn.

Now I do not run anymore,

behind the balloons or skirts in the wind,

I do not have a dog or a cat;

I have a bench and grass near,

where I sit and wait

that you reach out to me.
