For what?

Per che cosa

io dovrei correre

dovrei affaticarmi

dovrei lottare,

se non sei accanto a me?

Per quale ragione

io dovrei guardare altrove

decidere diversamente dal mio credo

occuparmi di altre persone

quando ho te a cui dare attenzione e cura?

Perchè volete che io pianga

soffrendo per non poter fare quello devo,

mentre potrei sorridere sempre accanto a lei?
