Il senso dell'amore - The sense of Love

Amare significa donarsi,
far stare bene chi si ama
ed  essere a propria volta amati,
per quello che si è e si da.
Amare vuol dire
sentire sempre accanto 
la persona amata,
che a sua volta ti cerca.
L'amore è cieco e sordo,
ma non muto.
L'amore ha una forza immane,
passa ovunque e non si può fermare.
Ma che senso può avere
amare un fantasma,
o amare chi di dimostra 
di non amare ma voler essere amato?

Love means giving oneself,
to become one you love
and be loved in turn,
for what it is and will be.
Love means
feel always beside
your loved one,
which in turn will seeking for you.
Love is blind and deaf,
but not dumb.
Love has a inhuman strength,
it goes everywhere and can not be stopped.
But what sense can be
to love a ghost,
or to love one who shows
not to love but wants only to be loved?
